A Visualisation Platform for Shoulder Replacement Surgery
This note presents a new software platform that has been designed to enable the integration and investigation of visualisation in multiple facets of the shoulder replacement process. What distinguishes this platform from available CAS (Computer Assisted Surgery) software solutions is a combination of its focus on visualisation (and specifically of the shoulder), its flexible and scalable architecture (without loss of domain-specific benefits) and the planned integration of predictive modelling.
